my dvi cable wont fit through my rain mstand? anyone else?

i just got my rain designs mstand home and i soon discovered my DVI monitor cable wont fit through the hole in the back which is supposed to be the cable tidy.
has anyone else found this to be a problem?

can you buy smaller DVI cables?
