Are there problems with Roxio/Leopard?

These are the programs I am wondering about...
Roxio Popcorn 3
Roxio Crunch
Toast Titanium 8

Thanks,

Toast works fine. Don't use the other 2 as they pretty much suck, at least IMHO.

I've used Toast and Popcorn and both seem fine.

Really? I tried burning a DVD with Toast 8 twice. Each time I tried, it would start out ok. But partially though it would quit and I would get an error message.

What was the error? Were you uring directly from another disc, a disc image or just files off your drive?

There is an issue burning with Roxio Toast 7.1.2 under Leopard. They saying going back to 7.1 and ditching the .2 update fixes it and that an update (7.1.3) will be released soon.

I don't quit remember the error, just the standard one with the options to relaunch, report to Apple, etc.

I was trying to burn a home movie from my external hard-drive.

I haven't tried to burn any other types of discs, yet. I'll post back with some new info. I have Toast 8.1.

I just burnt a normal audio cd, and it worked. But when I play it on my computer it sounds all distorted and scratchy. When I play the exact same songs on iTunes, they sound great.

This is interesting.

Just tried playing the cd on my stereo, sounds terrible.

Funny thing is, I had Toast installed before I upgraded to Leopard.

I'm running Toast. 8.0.1

I just tried burning a dvd again, after reinstalling. Still got the same problem. Mid way through, the burn process stopped and error message popped up. I was going to post the comments, but code was extremely long.

There are issues for some even with Toast 8 as Roxio is working on a patch for 8 first then 7 after that. Whatever issues there are will be fixed I am sure with that patch. Keep an eye out on Roxio's site for it.

I just confirmed for Toast 7 owners, if you go back to Toast 7.1 from 7.1.2 it works great. It's the 7.1.2 update that messes it up.
