Are there still places on the strip where you can find $5 Blackjack or Craps, or even $10? I haven't been there in two years and one of my friends who went (first-timer) said he only saw $15. I am going to be there in a couple of weeks but during the week (Sunday to Thursday) and was wondering if anyone knew.

Also my girlfriend wants to know if there are still slot machines that actually take and produce coins. I don't remember from two years ago because I don't play many slots. Thanks.

Get off the strip and you can still find cheaper slots and tables. The Golden Nugget was a good deal not too long ago but I think it's getting popular again. There's also a Hilton off the strip (east a few blocks) that still caters to gamblers and less to the recreational family types. Small businesses away from the strip will still have your affordable gaming. You can't buy a beer on the strip for less than $11 now though.

Most big casinos are coin-less now, not sure of the little places though.

The slots in Circus Circus were still coin slots when I was there in June of 2006. Also, you can still get cheap beer. Just play the penny slots and wait for one of the girls to come by and ask you what you want.

Yea I knew I could find it off the strip but I was hoping it was possible to find it somewhere on the strip.
