yeah... but still relevant...

You don't want to buy an iPod, then 2 years later... oops the battery gone and Apple saids, erm... how about a new iPod, would be cheaper then a repair!

"NO!! DAM IT.... I WANT MINE FIXED... SO BLEEDING WELL FIX IT!"

Guess that's why i still use a solid state MP3 player with cheap AAA cells. 10 alkaline cells for less then $10HKD. Don't have to worry about drops, knocks, scratching it and it's much much lighter.... like 80grams only. :D

There is a battery replacement out there for $25.. I wouldnt say that is too expensive at all.

the $255 figure stated in the video is not correct for 99.99 plus 5.95 s+h you can send your ipod in to apple and they will send you a replacement ipod

What if you spent a few hundred dollars on iTunes music and then deleted it from your computer? Is it impossible for them just to replace the battery? (Actually there's a book about hardware hacking that shows you how to replace it yourself)
