Hi,
I recently bought a "Netgear WN802T 300Mbps RangeMax NEXT Wireless Access Point" hoping to be amazed by the speeds of wireless-n but... it's no better than my old access point.
By the looks of it, it only connects at 130Mbps (see pic below) but when trying to transfer anything over the network it's pretty much pointless. It will start then the speed will drop to a few Bytes/s and stop shortly after or keep going really slow.
The access point IS configured correctly, I have a 2.2GHz MacBook Pro which does have wireless-n.
Anyone have any ideas? Would I have the same problems with an Airport?
The AP is literally behind me on a shelf so it's not like i'm far away from it either.
Thanks
