Faulty Macbook

I was really excited about getting a brand new Macbook. I ordered it online, but now I think that might have been a mistake.

The computer came, and has a dead pixel at the bottom center.
The screen seems to be slightly crooked. This is only noticeable by rubbing your finger against the closed macbook, but whenever I open my computer, it makes a loud click in the right hinge. Also, the battery does not fit in evenly. It is about a millimeter depressed on one side, and juts out about the same distance on the other side.

I live in NY, and would like to know about the return policy. It has been one week.

I will take it to the apple store this weekend.

If you bought it from apple.com and its new, their return policy should be clearly stated on the website... might be different if you bought a refurbished one.

Also for new macbooks they come with a one year warranty then when thats over you have the option to extend it.
