Need Wireless Desktop with strong signal

I'm getting ready to buy a mac mini to run as a home theater console. I need to buy a wireless desktop but I am having trouble finding specs that indicate signal strength will extend at least 15 to 20 feet. I think 6 feet is a standard, but could be wrong. Does anyone have recommendations? I would prefer a cheap solution but functionality comes first.

Well, I believe the standard spec for Bluetooth is 30 feet. So, any wireless keyboard/mouse combo running on Bluetooth should meet your needs. Other RF technologies might be hit or miss (because they're not aligned under a standard set of specs, like Bluetooth).

Check out Apple's new wireless keyboard - it should be just about perfect for a media center application.
