For the past couple of months I've noticed that my screen was starting to lose a little brightness and it takes longer to warm up after it's been off, but today, out of nowhere, the left side of the screen became much dimmer than the rest of the screen.
It's very noticeable when displaying white (like this website) and I would say it's around 40% less brightness than it should be.
Do these screens have multiple tubes in them and maybe one of them is going out? Any ideas as to what I might be able to do about it? I don't have any warranty left.
