• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

Does anyone else find that iMovie is buggy in Leopard? So much so that it is unusable? My cursor is jumpy inside as I scroll through the clips and sometimes the sound works and sometimes it doesn't. On top of that some of the clips are gray with no picture until I hover over them.

My mouse isn't jumpy outside of iMovie, only when I'm in iMovie moving the line/cursor to the right as I am viewing the clips. And at that point the sound doesn't aways work.

It used to work fine in Tiger. Am I doing something wrong here?

If you done upgrade from Tiger to Leopard it may not work for some reason. Try reinstaling your iMovie. Mine iMovie works great, but I done fresh Leopard installation.

I have a new mb and it came with leopard pre installed. On top of that, I reinstalled Leopard and the apps after realizing bootcamp wasn't installed when I took the computer out of the box.

Maybe I'll try and reinstall iMovie...

Looks like an erase and install took care of the problem. I'll report back if it starts happening again...
