Well I have been trying to watch some shows I missed on nbc.com. For some stupid reason nbc.com said that I need to download flashplayer which was weird because I have already watched shows on the site. I installed it anyway and it still inst working. I checked macromedias site and it says that I have flashplayer installed already. What's This For?

Can anyone offer a possible solution?

Thanks in advance

Yeah, I verified your symptoms. Firefox gives a black page with an ad at top. IE7 on my work PC can load the video player. There is this thread with many options offered, but I'm not where I can check any right now. Good luck.

I dont understand how it used to work no problem and then just stop. It said I needed to intall flash 9 or greater and did. The flash website says that i have flash 9 installed but the player is not working. I'm getting so frustrated.
