Will this ram work for my macbook?

I just came across this in outpost.com.

Is this a single 2GB stick? I wanna max my new 4GB macbook out!! So would that mean I get 2 of these? Im just not sure if this is 2x1gb or 1x2gb. Because 4gb for $120 is a steal! Thanks in advance for yr help!!

MacBook can only use DDR2-667 PC2-5300 SO-DIMM Memory and up to a max of 2GB only. One GB for each slot.

Short answer:
Yes, it will work. It is 1 2GB SODIMM, based on their description. You can verify that if you like by googling the part number (that VS2GSblahblahblah number).

Long answer:

Actually the NEW macbook, which is what the OP is referring to takes up to 4GB of RAM.
