I have a macbook pro and I recently upgraded to leopard. Ever since whenever I'd let my computer just sit (lid open, plugged in). And I'd come back a few hours later and the display would be off (which it should be) but I'll press buttons on my keyboard, ill move the mouse/trackpad etc. and it doesn't wake up or come back. The light isn't pulsing, it's just dim. I'll try closing the lid then opening it and still nothing...

I have it configured so that it doesn't go to sleep (just the display shuts off after like 20 mins).

This has happened both times I've left my notebook like this. It's never happened before leopard. How can I fix this?

I know this is a stupid question, but is your MBP plugged in?

i've noticed leopard seems to be a step behind tiger, in many areas.

but to answer your question, this has happened to me a few times. i seem to recall that pushing the power button, oddly enough, brings the computer back.

What method did you use to upgrade to 10.5?

i stuck the disk in and hit upgrade. then it went thru the entire process, rebooted and loaded a blue screen with the spinning ball.

of course it's my fault for not backing anything up, but still.
