New to iMovie 7.1 - effects?

17" MBP 2.4GHz w/ 4gb Ram
I just bought my MBP, and i've used the old iMovie (on my PowerBook G4) and its a little different. I do not see any "effects", is there a good place to download effects to use? Sorry if this is a newB question, but im lost with this new iMovie.
