I did a search and it doesn't look like this Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard: the Ars Technica review has been posted anywhere else.

If it has, just let me know and I'll delete this thread myself. And I'll even send myself an infraction. ;D

In any case, this is a very interesting review and I would encourage anyone to have a look at it, even if it is a bit lengthy. As with all its reviews, this one is thorough so I can't blame Siracusa for having a detailed article.

I've read it thursday, pretty interesting. Although I have to admit that I skipped a few parts though ^^.

I agree with most of his points about UI.

Especially about how the Finder no longer remembers views by default. (ugh)

I will have to read. Generally, Ars reviews are well done and honest.

Very in depth review, read the entire thing and he has some very valid points. Great review, I'm looking more deeply into his writing now.

I agree this is a great review. And I agree with the reviewers idea that the folder icon in 10.5 is not an improvement. Well I made this little pic up in photoshop.

The 10.5 folder looks really similar to the system 7 or earlier ones. Why would Apple do something like this?

Also I agree with his great critism of docked folders in 10.5 They are just disgusting.
