improve app performance?

which Disc Maintenance software do you use or recommend?
(to cleaning caches to improve applications performance)

Many here like ONYX including me. Others like MainMenu. Both are great and do the job.

Just waiting for their Leopard update

I've always used Onyx, but I found recently that IceClean is more effective, as I can notice a huge performance improve of my OSX.

This is for Tiger. I'm upgrading to Leopard next week, and don't know if any of them will be working properly. Any thoughts?

I use MainMenu, I find it more convenient than OnyX but they pretty much do the same thing, OnyX having a couple more features but if you're not careful with what you're doing with it, you can do damage to your system.

For really tough jobs, I use DiskWarrior.

There's also Applejack if you dont mind using the command line in single user mode.

The latest Oynx says it works with Leopard. Not sure about anything else at this time.
