Freezes While Shutting Down

Starting last night, sometimes when I shut down my macbook it will exit out of all applications, close the dock, all the icons on my desktop will dissapear, and i will be stuck just looking at my cursor and my desktop wallpaper but it will not continue to shut down.

This happens to me too. It's not every time I shutdown, maybe every 3 or so, but everything disappears but the desktop background and the little spinning icon. It just carries on like this for hours and I have to hold down the power key to shut down my MBP.

The same issue happened to me as well.
