Smart Mailbox Folders disabled in Mail 3.0??

In the new Mail on Leopard, the option Mailbox->New Smart Mailbox Folder is completely greyed out. No matter what. Anyone else notice this, or is it just me?

No no.. "New Smart Mailbox Folder...". I see it's greyed out for you too.

Why did Apple disable this???

No it's also still there. You just need to select the account the mailbox is being created for first...
