I backed up with CCC a few days ago before the update...no good? Everything seemed to go fine.

Ya, I looked at the old version and it seemed fine. Then I went to the site and discovered that the new version was out and explicitly stated 10.5 compatibility. The old one may have worked perfectly fine, but since the updated version is still free it never hurts to upgrade with something that has been tested.

For any who may be interested, I just replaced my 250Gb boot drive with a 500Gb drive (2 partitions). CCC worked like a charm, copied all 124Gb of data in about 1.5 Hours and the new drive booted withut a hitch.
