how many mb would it take to put a film onto the new nanos?

un yea title explains really, thats using the full pixels not downgraded

yes but it would be less on a nano because of the lower sreen res, does anyone know?

i know i never said it was going to be..... i mean the ipod full screen i think its 320x something.

Depending on what settings you use, you could get a full movie as low as 400Mb. It probably would not look bad on the Nano, but don't try playing on a bigger screen as it will look like garbage.

To get it that small you would go with 320x240 video and about a 300k to 400k bit rate, single pass, MPEG-4 (non-H.264) in an App like Handbrake.

I compress almost all my full length movies to fit onto about 350-500 MB's for use on my nano, and you pretty much cant tell any significant video quality loss. Put them on anything larger than the nano screen however, and youll start to see the pixillation and graininess.
