CS3 confusion...

Mac Folks,

i'm shopping for photoshop CS3 extended... and had a look at ebay...

i found the package titled: Adobe Photoshop CS3 new retail version

under system requirements it says:

Intel Pentium 4, Intel Centrino, Intel Xeon, or Intel Core Duo (or compatible) processor Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise (certified for 32-bit editions)

i have a macbook pro with the intel core duo as well as an older pentium P4 running windows XP...

my question is will this retail version run on either system? specifically the macbook pro? or would i be obliged to run xp pro(which i don't have for the macbook) in order to run this copy of CS3

It looks like you found the Windows version of CS3.

There is a Mac specific version. If you want to run CS3 in OSX, you must purchase the Mac version.

If you want to run the Windows version of CS3 on your Mac, you would need to run a Windows OS (full retail version) in Boot Camp.
