Hi

Just wondering which Office Suite people are using?
I've selected 4 options:
iWork 08
iWork (older)
NeoOffice
OpenOffice
MS Office
A mix (pelase specify)

cheers!
Dave

/edit - sigh - missed Open Office from the poll. And now I don't think I can add it in..

MS Office for Mac 2004. Our company participates in Microsoft's Home Use Program, so getting a copy of Office through that costs almost nothing.

I can pretty much promise you this has been discussed ad nauseum before. I recommend searcing using the search function before posting.

I did search but couldn't see anything like a poll hence the addition. I am as you say, sure it has been discussed but thought a poll would give some specific views, easily accessible to all. Without having to trawl through many many pages of threads.

I usually use iWork '08 for presentations (Keynote is way nicer than PowerPoint). I have Office 2004 and NeoOffice, but both are used very infrequently. For day to day word processing, I use a simple WP called Bean. As far as I'm concerned, it's the best all-around WP on any platform.

Recently switched to iWork08. Still have NeoOffice on the computer but only use for the database feature.

Sit in front of an excel spreadsheet all day at work - Office 2007 - don't like it, so want to go back to 2003.

The wife is the Office guru and uses 2007 at work - she likes it.

At home, nothing but OO has touched my Win boxes since XP.

Neo has been on my Mac since I bought it.

Installed the trial of iWork again after I installed Leopard on both of our Mac's. We both like it, so will likely get the Family pack.

I love iWork 08. I considered getting Office Mac 2004, but I decided to truly experience Apple when buying my first Mac, so I went with iWork.

I have no problems with it, it's easy to use and just as functional as iWork. And the fact that you can export directly to PDF or the representative Office format (doc, xls or ppt) I see no reason to buy Office now that I have iWork.

thanksall. I do like the look of iWork 08. But for my use I'd really only use the word processor. It does look nice tho. However, new iMac, 500GB external disc, applecare and more RAM I'm starting to feel a bit skint ;)

I was using iWork 08 exclusively and Neo Office for some spreadsheet needs that Numbers wouldn't cover. Due to work concerns I now have to use Microsoft Office 2004 because I need Excel.....Arrggghhhh. At least the upgrade to Office 2008 is a supersweet deal at $7.57 (already ordered)....

iWork 08 for me dude.
After working for like 14 long years with MS Office (on PC), I discovered iWork does everything much more beautiful and pro.
