When I first open a folder that I haven't opened since installing Leopard, there's maybe a 1-2 second hang where the contents look blank and then all of the icons pop up. After returning to the folder, it snaps right open again, just like Tiger did.

The machine is 8-core Mac Pro with 4gb of ram, so it shouldn't be the machine slowing things down. My base C2D Macbook with Tiger doesn't have any hang to it.

Is this an issue with Time Machine or Finder. Or, if not, do I need to look at a re-install? By the way, it was installed with the default installation, no clean install or archive and install.

I've been seeing people post about their GlobalPreferences.plist file.

I'll have to search on it, perhaps someone can point me in a direction about this?
