aol deleting problem

I am having a wieird problem with AOL mail when trying to delete

This worked for me....

go to Mail Preferences
Highlight your AOL Accounts
Click on Mailbox Behaviors
Uncheck "STORE DELETED MESSAGES ON SERVER.
Save Changes Log out of your Account on your mac
Log back in and try to delete the messages.
