Java development environment!

Hello All,

I never used Apple, and i was wondering if MacBook with 2gig of ram good for java develpment envirnment?

I am planning to run Eclipse, MySQL, Tomcat.

Do I really need MacBookPro for these?

I am doing Java aswell, I have NetBeans and Jdeveloper they run fine on my black MB.

If you are using Java 6 then you'll want to see if that option is available. I don't think it is right now.

Java 6 is not yet available on the Mac.

Eclipse gets my vote.

Download MAMP to get yourself a proper install of mysql and the Apache server.
