Recommendation for a GOOD Point n Shoot?

dont get nikon
most of their p&s cameras are alright at best
your going to want to find something with an image stabilizer
canon or Panasonic both have this
fuji also makes really good p&s cameras

I have an Olympus Stylus 1000 and I love it, takes really nice pictures.

the canon powershot series is pretty good.
If you need a sub $150 camera i would recommend the Canon Powershot A560.

I have been reading reviews and zeroing in on the Sony DSC-W55. Any owners out there with comments on this camera? Thanks!
