• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

Ok. I have read the help menu
I have searched the forums.
I have made a short video using i movie 5.0.2. now here's the thing: I want to add some text at the end.
I have tried various fonts and Title effects. I have restarted iMovie, even my computer, hey, i even opened a new project to try and get these "titles" but the writing is miniscule. Like; illegibly tiny.

and yes the size slider is on the biggest.

Now the last thing I want to do is waste anyone's precious time, but I have exhausted all other options.
*** is going on?
Thanks for listening:eek:

Are you editing in HD and then exporting to a lower res eg DV ?

Or are you importing DV text titles in to a high def video?

editing in HD. Trying to add titles straight from the HD menu....

I am extremely untechnical so dunno if this answers your question...
I have been trying to add titles in the same project, before exporting or compressing at all.

I have done it before on a different movie project with no hassles. Same computer same, version of imovie.
