I have all my music collection on my 20g IPOD. I also want to put audiobooks and other type of music on their i.e. aerobic music. Many times I play library shuffle and don't want to hear the aerobic music. Is there a way to seperate on ITUNES and then download to IPOD?

Yes, create a playlist called iPod, and sync your iPod to that playlist.

manaually sync the playlists you want on your iPod.

I am not understanding or explaining myself correctly. Doesn't ALL your music, audiobooks etc. go into the library? If you shuffle the library you will hear the audiobooks, right? Are you telling me that IF I import audiobooks then I can't use shuffle for the library and make a playlist for the audiobooks and download to the IPOD.
Is this correct?

I guess that's correct, the shuffle function seems can only shuffle the whole library, so you have to creat two playlist one for the audiobook, and the other for rest of your song.
