I tried to setup a printer a while ago before we found out the **** thing was broken. I had started to setup assistant, but canceled it.

Now, the program "HP Setup Assistant" pops up at computer startup, prompting me to begin configuring the device. How do i just cancel it for good?

I had a demo of Internet Cleanup, and it expired. Now, at startup, it reminds me to purchase a new copy. Whatever. I thought I got rid of all of that program from the hard drive but of course I must be missing something.

There should be a logical place for both of these things to be hiding, but I cant seem to find them.

Try...

System Preferences>Accounts, and choose your account

Click Login Items and remove anything you don't want at startup. Hope that helps!
