I just got this from reading various FAQs about this same concrn.
There is a question as to Time Machine being able to make a "bootable"
backup. Some vendors of 3rd party software are in the midst of testing Leopard for this capability and if not, they will be busy upgrading their software. Check out the websites for SuperDuper and CCC. They have some interesting information about this subject.
