A family member recently brought another Ipod, the problem is, We both use the same computer, and we cannot figure out a way to put Her music only on her Ipod, whilst keeping my music on my Ipod.

Could i install two Itunes? one for mine, one for the other? I DONT KNOOW~!

Any help with this would be appreciated, Otherwise we are stuck with a new ipod shuffle that cannot be used

You have 2 choices here:

1) Use playlists. Your music in yours, hers in hers and then set each iPod to ONLY sync to the appropriate list.

2) Turn off Auto Sync and do it all manually via drag and drop within iTunes.

I have 5 iPods hooked up to my Mac and I use #2.

My wife and I together have 5 iPods (she has one, I have four), and we use playlists (baggss alternative #1), one for each iPod. It works great.

I much prefer to use manual sync even with just one ipod it stops accidentally erasing/syncing unwanted stuff.

Saying that we have 2 ipods in our house & using playlists work great
