Just wanted to say thanks for the advice all over the previous days and I guess months!
Ive just ordered a 24" iMac with a slightly larger hard drive, 1GB ram and a wireless mouse as well as some applecare (4% cashback via quidco and a voucher for £20 off)
I have also ordered an extra 2GB ram stick from Crucial (7% quidco cashback) so I am feeling rather excited.. if now wondering how I should fund the purchase of a new roof for my Alfa ;-)
Anyway - thanks so far. I am sure I will be back with usage questions soon!
Just have to order a MyBook Pro with a firewaire interface now for some backup and additional storage.
