A Laney GH50L a the minute. I've had it for about a year so far and I'm still loving it. I use a Digitech Studio 400 in the effects loop, and that's it. I'm kinda liking the whole raw unprocessed tube goodness so the Digitech has been neglected as of late! :D

On your teal Ibby 570... do the stickers happen to be pink f-holes? :p

What are you using for ampage?

I currently use a custom-made Class A 15 watt 1x12 tube combo designed after a fender tweed circuit. It's magical with a Strat plugged straight in. It's an outstanding blues amp.

When I wish to rock out a little more, I have a 100 watt Laney Pro Tube Lead half stack. It's a white tolex anniversary edition with a very low serial number. I've never seen another one like it.

I also have an early '70s Fender Deluxe reverb (silverface).

The Fishman Loudbox acoustic amp rounds out the amp collection (for now).

I'm in the market for a 50 watt combo, but it's not going to happen for a while. (I'm saving for a new iMac.)

------------------------------------------------------------

I'm pretty simple in terms of effects. I have a ton of stomp boxes, but I rarely use them. For the most part I use guitar straight into amp with a little reverb.

Stomp boxes I actually use include:

Robert Keeley modded TS-9 Tubescreamer
Robert Keeley modded Boss DS-1
Guyatone digital delay
Holy Grail Reverb
Dunlop Crybaby 535Q

No pink F holes on the Ibanez... :Smirk: It does have Paul's DiMarzios in it though!

Currently I started playing the trumpet again. It's been years since I last played that thing. It's some sort of crappy student Bach brand trumpet.

I play the guitar, a seven string Ibanez. Don't know the exact model though. I'm starting to pick up bass. Playing a friends bass for now.

But my real passion, is drums.
First "real" set was an experimentation hybrid of all sorts.
Tama Stagestar 18X22" Bass drum.
12" Pearl Firecracker Snare Drum.
8" Pearl Export Mounted Tom
14" Paiste 302 Hi-Hats
20" Paiste 302 Ride

My set now:
Mapex Pro-M Maple 5 Piece Fusion 10"12"14" Mounted/suspended toms along with a 14" Maple Snare and a 12" Black Panther Cherry Snare

14" Zildjian K-Mastersound Hi Hats
18" Zildjian K-Cutsom Fast Crash
18" Zildjian K Dark Medium-Thin Crash
20" Zildjian K Medium Ride

I play the piano and drums. I've dabbled with the alto saxophone and guitar as well. Would love to learn how to play the violin though.

I always wanted to pay piano or violin in school, but we had a marching band, so I went with Alto Sax. Eventually I learned a bit of Base and Piano when I joined a jazz band.

I haven't really played anything since high school, but wish I had continued to play piano. I think any musician should learn at least a little piano, even drummers, and most good musicians do. I'm thinking of tracking down a cheap Yamaha Clavinova and learning to play again.

My advice to any young people with an interest and experience in playing anything: keep playing and learning. You'll get better with time and you'll probably regret giving it up down the road.

I've been playing since '95. I got the National new Yorker from an uncle when I started. I think it's from the early '50's. I had a Squier Tele which I sold and I have a Fender acoustic. I am trying to sell the National and possibly the Fender too and I am thinking about buying a Breedlove 12 string.

Used to play the piano, but haven't in such a long time I forgot lol. Anyways, I play guitar when I can. I have a 20th anniversary Ibanez RG550 in road flare red. Still need to buy an amp. Not sure on which one. Here's a pic.

Used to take piano lessons as a kid, got into guitar briefly in my teens (playing in a church Folk Group). Now as a 40-something adult, I've been playing the oboe, not very well, sadly don't get around to practicing as much as I should.

I used to play drums in my teens, have had too long a break, and have just ordered (yesterday) a new Hart Dynamics eDrum kit, with double pedals of course!
A shame I have to wait until Christmas to play it!

I believe I already posted this before in a different thread... but I play the Alto Saxophone. That is what mine looks like, mine is at school so I can't take a picture of the exact one.

I come from a musical and entertainment family. My father who is a retired exec from the record / music industry in Los Angeles, is an amazing piano player. I grew up with a Steinway grand piano in our home and was taught by him, but I was never really "into" music, or the music scene. I was lucky my parents didn't force music or other hobbies on us if we didn't show talent or interest.

Meanwhile, I went on to learn songs on the piano (mostly classic Elton John and Billy Joel) but I don't play much these days. I would be remiss if I didn't include how much I miss the extended family gatherings around the piano (and everywhere else) that still take place on occasion at my parents home.

I think I have a photo of my parents Steinway. It's a classic grand in mint condition from 1955, I believe. If I find the photo, I will post it here.
