How do i get my photos from Picasa

i just switched from a PC where I used Picasa for storing my photos. I burnt a Picasa CD-how do I get those photos on to my mac?

Also when I transfer from my camera to my Mac I can't find the button that lets me safely disconnect my camera-I got a warning that i had done this incorrectly.

TIA-what a frustrating learning curve this has turned out to be

I don't know about the Picasa thing. I'm just trying out Picasa again for my PC.

When you are done transferring, drag the mounted drive to the Trash. Or Right Click + Eject. It will successfully disconnect.
