Playing songs were you left off??

Okay, I'm a wintel user (sorry it's my Dad's), anyway I say this feature in the original ipod ad were this guy is listening to his iTunes on the computer then cinqs his iPod and contiunes to listen to that track on his iPod were he left off on his computer. How do I do that? (3G iPod 15GB latest updates installed)

You can do that with AudioBooks, but I don't think it's possible with songs.

I've never been able to do it, and I've tried.

I doubt it's not possible, it's a commercial, not everything in it could be real...
