so, ive had my macbook for a while now, and after sometime, maybe a month of using it, the hard drive icon on the desktop disappeared. ive tried to goto finder options and check off hard drive being visible. it doesnt work.
nothing really seems to, and its not even mounted on my finder window. the only way i can access the hard drive folder is by searching for it in spotlight
any tips or anyone else deal with that?

Look it up in spotlight again, then click on "See All" at the top, then physically drag the hard drive icon over onto your desktop. That should solve the problem.
