CD-RW Drives, How can you tell?

Ok if you look to the left you will see my specs.. now would my drive be capable of writing and rewriting CD-RW's? I have several of them that I was given and at this point IM not sure if they were just expensive CD-R's or if I can actually RW them...

Is it as easy as burning it, then throwing it back in and erasing it by throwing everything in the trash, emptying the trash, throwing things back in, then reburning it?

I've never tried the trash method (or any method with CD-RW's for that matter), but if you open Disk Utility, you'll see an option for "Erase", and I'm almost certain that should let you wipe a CD-RW disk clean.

Ok Ill have to give it a go, I would just rather not ruin them and make them one write and that's it

I use toast, so I erase and then rewrite them.
