What would happen if I would deleate all of the OS 9 software?
I haven't used it in two years. Would it affect OS X?

No, you can safely remove your complete OS9 system without affecting OS X. The only thing that won't work anymore is Classic, because it needs an installed OS9.

But if you don't use it anymore, just erase it. I had OS9 installed on a second, 6GB hard disk which I simply removed, and OS X still works fine, except Classic of course.

If your OS 9 is small enough, make a copy of it on CD. Before you delete it, just in case something comes along that will need it.
