Whenever I go to System Preferences and try to select the iTunes Album Art screensaver, System Preferences shuts down unexpectedly. It only happens with that particular screensaver. It's rather frustrating. At one point the screensaver still came up as my screensaver but now it has reverted to what it was before and I can't change it. Any ideas?

I had an issue with the same screen saver, but only when I set the rows to 2. The system preference pane would crash, but the screen saver would still run.

This had happened shortly after I got my Mac, last fall. As a new owner then, I was really upset and pretty much had AppleCare on speed dial for this issue. None of the specialist could figure out the problem. They even arrange an appointment for a Mac repair company come to my place, and swap out certain parts.

Turns out it's an issue with the OS. Apple's aware of the problem, but hasn't done anything for it. Check it out: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=304994

Aha, that is what happened to me now I think about it, it was ok to being with but I set the rows to 2 and from then on it had a problem. Now I can't even get to it to change the number of rows. I'll try deleting the file like it says on that link, thanks for the help :)
