hey!
i have a imac G5 (without iSight) and for no reason, there wasnt any output to the screen. can i but a monitor, connect it up to my mac and will there be output to the screen if i boot it up and use the monitor? will this work?

I don't think that this will work. You need to enable a second screen first, and that requires you to have access to the first screen. I'm afraid that you will have to take this machine in for service.
