Why my Mac is so laggy when i am writing/downloading data from USB storage key ?

Hi there got a prob , i can`t work while i am downloading from USB storage key ( 8gb ) . why it is so laggy ?

Because USB, even USB 2, is butt slow.

But even in windows it does not lags so PC as in mac ! Why is so ? I can work in win for example when i am writing/reading from usb key , but in Mac it is slide show ! ! :(

If you are experiencing poor performance while WRITING to the key, try reformatting it for the Mac format. That makes a HUGE difference. For some reason, Mac OS X is really poky about writing FAT32 volumes.
