Hey guys I was hoping someone could help me out...

I recently changed the name of my computers (the house icon). So after I restarted the computers everything has changed to the first time I booted them up. Oops. For instance the dock is missing all the programs I put in there and all my preferences have been reset. All my information is saved but in different locations.

Is there a way I set the computers back a time prior to these changes? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

You made the mistake of renaming your Home folder. That's a big no-no. Here's the fix

Thanks for the fix. Unfortunately for me the directions seem to be short and complicated. What is the short name supposed to be?
