Why is Azureus is sooo slow?!

Mac OSX Latest. iMac Intel. Azureus latest. Linksys Router. Please help?!

Dwnld speeds of 1/2/3 kbps. Painful.

Did you open your ports? Are you using a healthy torrent? There are numerous reasons why you could be getting slow speeds.

how do you open your ports or know if it's open?

20" Intel iMac 2.4 Ghz/3G Ram/320HD, Snow Leopard. PBook G4, 1.5Ghz/1.5 Ram/250 HD, Leopard 10.5.6.
Look at www.portforward.com and search for your router in their list. It will tell you how to forward your ports.
Make sure you aren't using Azureus default port of 6881 either. ISP's blacklist it. Use something high and random (I use 17568), make sure that port is open in your router, and you should be fine.
