I currently have one LaCie drive connected via FireWire 800 to my iMac. I am thinking of having 2 drives, one for backup with SuperDuper and one for Time Machine. How would I connect the 2 of them if I want to use FireWire 800?

Thanks

Doesn't your LaCie drive have a FW800 port to daisy-chain the other hard drive onto it?

You could buy a FW400-FW800 cable and use that port for time machine. It will be fast enough to cope but as stated above you could just daisy chain them.
