efi firmware update , now macbook does not start up!!!

i installed the macbook firmware update on my laptop but after holding down the power button, the macbook does nothing..... just a black screen, no progress bar or anything... what can i do to fix this? my computer is not working now

Did you follow the instructions exactly? Did you see the update install?

yes and after the shut down and beep pretty much nothing happened.. and now the macbook is just with a blue screen
