If I want my MacBook on for a few days straight, are there any precautions I should take? I'll make sure it gets enough air, elevate it a little.

But like if its on, hosting something, for a few days, or for a few hours each day, can anything shorten out or any damage be done?

Thanks.

Well obviously it won't run on battery power for more than a few hours :) , but no, running them for long periods of time should do no damage. My MBP has been on for.. well, probably more than a week as I type this.

Alright.
Thanks.
I dont leave my PC on 24/7, though it can handle it, I dont like to.

I just though cause of the MacBook being small, and getting hot while on for an hour, and not enough circulation.

Thanks.

If you're really worried about heat, there are various laptop stands available that have cooling fans inside. I have an Alaska one that has two fans underneath the laptop and it is powered by USB, so the laptop stays nice and cool. Quite quiet, too :)
