I have come up against the problem of mail not working. I get the message:
Mail cannot update your mailboxes because home directory is full. You must free up space in your home folder before using mail.

I have 151 GB of free space and have done the verify permissions and verify disk and everything says its okay. I have tried opening Mail holding the shift (-) button down but Mail will freeze before it lets me do anything.

I don't know what else to try other than a Mac expert. I am getting pretty frustrated with the Mac because all of a sudden I am getting all kinds things happening and it sure does cut into production.

Thanks

There are other problems also besides this Mail issue? If so please post them all as it might help us to help you.

Glad you were able to fix your issues. So far I have never had that issue with Mail since 10.2. Thanks for posting the URL.
