macbook pro sound problem (boot camp)

I installed boot camp, sound got messed up, and then I deleted it and still don't have sound. What can I do to get sound? Would reinstalling oxs fix the problem? Please help!

Your Mac's Specs
Macbook Pro 15.4", Core Duo 2.16ghz, 2gig of RAM
Are you having issues with sound when booted to Windows or OS X? If it is on Windows, re-run the bootcamp drivers disk installer and reboot. If it is on OS X, try running disk utility from the OS X restore DVD (insert disk, then reboot and hold down C to boot from the disk).
