I have a Western Digital 300gb external hard drive.
Works perfect on my PC, but can it be compatible with my MacBook?

It says its in FAT32.

Thanks.

Fat32 is compatible with OSX. Although FAT32 does have limitations, for example long file names and that format does not support permissions on files.

Advantage is you can use it on PC & Mac.

Yea, it should work. It would work smoother and it would be more reliable if it was formatted in NTFS but then it wouldn't be recognized by a PC.
