- iBook G4 1.33Ghz that constantly needs repairs. :)
Hi
My iBook (as you would know if you've read my previous post) has had so many problems.
I've recently figured out the cause of the random freezing on my iBook. It's to do with any pressure applied to the area of the iBook that contains the hard drive.
Now, the casing on my iBook is lift able around this part and I've lifted it up and ever since it's been up like that it has not frozen once. This really is unusual because I don't think an iBook should run like this.. also it looks terrible.
So it's definetily something to do with the hard drive.
The only way I can use it is by lifting the casing around the track pad away from the bottom casing near the hard drive.
Please help!
