I am very used to Windows, so I wanted to know if there was a program or hack to move minimize/maximize/close the the right side of the screen like in Windows, is this possible?

You may be able to find a ShapeShifter skin that does it, I'm not sure.

To be honest, this is one of those things you just need to get used to. This isn't Windows, it's different. Stop thinking like Windows and it will be easier.

I haven't seen any themes that can do that. The themes just reskin, they dont have the ability to move elements.

You'll get used to it in time, few weeks at most, promise. I'm not aware of any themes that do what you're asking. Just adjust. It's about your only option, anyway

well, Mac OS X doesn't have a maximize function. So that's something else you'll have to get used to. I got used to the left side, but I also use a lot of keyboard shortcuts, so I'm trying to get used to the differences between Windows and Mac OS X. Keyboard layout is something to get used to, as well as Command + C vs. Ctrl + C for the copy command.

I've gotten around the minimize issue, there are several ways to do it.

1) Double click the top of the Apps window and it will shrink it to the dock.

2) I downloaded and purchased the UNSANITY Haxie "WindowShadeX". Now when I double click the top of a window, it hides the application.

I'm sure there are other methods that will work for you.

WindowShadeX is a good app for sure, but I don't think it was worth money

Those darn buttons on the left (in safari) have caused me to close the safari window countless times when all i intended doing was clicking the back button

then again maybe it was just my hand to eye coordination with my mouse
